What is the Seed&Spark Patrons Circle?
The Patrons Circle is a group of industry professionals and activists teaming up with Seed&Spark to support innovative creators telling stories that drive narrative change. Each Patron commits between $500 to $2,500 towards a Seed&Spark crowdfunding campaign that meets their criteria. Most Patrons look for projects that center social justice issues including gender equity, bodily autonomy and reproductive rights, racial equity, LGBTQ+ rights, economic justice, climate change, tech justice, and more.
Is my crowdfunding campaign eligible for a Patron pledge?
All crowdfunding campaigns are eligible to potentially receive a pledge from the Patrons Circle as long as they've raised at least 30% of their total goal. Once launched and actively crowdfunding on our platform, a campaign is automatically reviewed to see if it aligns with an active Patron's preferred theme or criteria. If you have a theme that aligns with what a Patron is looking for, be sure to make this clear in your campaign description!
Themes and criteria for active Patrons are updated regularly on our Instagram account. You can follow us on Instagram at @seedandspark.
How will I be notified if my campaign is selected for a Patron pledge?
If your campaign is selected for a Patrons Circle grant, our team will email you directly to confirm the next steps for receiving payment via our fiscal sponsor. Please note that we will not reach out to you or DM you through our platform or any other platform, rather we will always email you directly.
