What happens if I pledge toward a project that never gets made?

Seed&Spark does not guarantee delivery of incentives or completion of creator projects post campaign. Once Seed&Spark releases the funds, creators are obligated to the supporters to deliver on their promises. In other words, they are obligated to make the project they said they would, and deliver the incentives supporters pledged for.

Crowdfunding is a public act. Seed&Spark creators work hard to get their project made after their campaign is completed. If there are delays and hiccups, which can be normal, creators are encouraged to post updates to Seed&Spark, to let supporters know. As a supporter you will receive these as email updates (and you can opt out of receiving these if you choose).

If you have any questions about the status of a campaign and the project, you should reach out to the project creator directly.

You can do this by selecting the "Contact" button beneath their name on their campaign's main page.

Seed&Spark cannot get involved in disputes between creators and supporters, and we cannot guarantee any specific project.
